The 2026 Optometry Queensland & Northern Territory Awards for Optometrist of the Year and Rising Star of the Year will open soon.
Peter Swann Photography Prize
This honours the legacy of Professor Peter Swann, who was a faculty member at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) for over 37 years. The competition celebrates clinical excellence and photographic skill in optometry by recognising outstanding ocular photography submitted by Association members and conference delegates.
The 2026 competition entries will open on 20 May.
